My name is Harry and I am the chief freelance consultant at Compudent. I specialise in providing IT support to Dental Surgeries in the North London and West End Areas.

Background
I graduated in 2003 from the University of Hertfordshire with a First Class BSc (hons) in a Computer Science degree specialising in Software Systems.
I have since worked with large companies and small businesses, providing all manner of IT solutions from Website Design to Office network implementation, hardware sourcing and installation, hardware management and software deployment and training. I have written custom software in many programming languages and designed and implemented digital telephony and CCTV systems.
I found myself providing more and more IT support to Dental Practices due to friend and family Dentists referring me to each other. I decided to start Compudent after a Dentist recommended I did this full time having just replaced the surgery's faulty computer server over a weekend which involved choosing replacement hardware, installing a new operating system, expanding the network hardware, setting up the practice management software, retrieving data from the faulty server and configuring the imaging peripherals. The surgery opened again Monday morning and was able to run uninterrupted regardless of a critical IT component having failed Friday evening.
